Vocational
rehabilitation pilot project for the Eastern European
community of Minnesota
(in collaboration with Russian American Business
Cultural Association and Department of Employment
and Economic Development, DEED).
Goal: develop
and implement vocational rehabilitation program
in collaboration with the Department of Employment
and Economic Development focused primarily on
disabled immigrants of Eastern European decent.
Successful implementation of this program will
help to preserve the dignity and enhance the quality
of life for disabled immigrants through a caring,
stimulating, and enjoyable environment.
Program Directors:
Capt. Alex Tolstov in collaboration ( IMPS&R,
ISPMR2) with Kimberly
Peck, Director of DEED and Stephen Larson, vocational
counsel.
